The project “Strengthening the capacity of BRO’s in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Turkey in the healthcare industry“ deals with the Community Aquis regarding the healthcare industry. Business Representatives Organisations in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Turkey will be trained in European directives and regulations which are important for their member companies.

SPECTARIS cooperates with seven other partner organizations from the EU-15 in order to provide the new and potential EU members, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Turkey, with significant knowledge and experience in the implementation of Community Acquis. In total, 14 partners from the old and new and candidate countries from the European Union participate within this project. The advantage of this project is that all partners will bring their experience and expertise towards the new acceding countries from different perspectives: newly acceded and old EU member states.

The project focuses upon theoretical and practical instruction to Business Representative Organisations (BRO’s) by holding a total of 5 training programmes in each of the BSP countries. A training handbook will help the BRO’s in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and Turkey to offer assistance to their member companies on complying with the EU Aquis. The training handbook will be published in English, Bulgarian, Romanian, Croatian and Turkish.

Another specific support tool for the target countries will be the establishment of a knowledge platform called “MedLex” in Bulgarian, Romanian, Croatian and Turkish that shall serve as an exchange platform for SME’s in the BSP countries.

The project is co-financed by the European Union’s Business Support Programme (BSP) .
